Dear Asaf,

Thank you for your mail.

All applicants can apply for a visa to India at the India Visa application centres in China according to the Consular jurisdiction. All applicants from the provinces of Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu seeking visas to visit India are requested to submit their applications at the India Visa Application Centre in Shanghai.

All Applicants from the provinces of Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Hunan, Sichuan and Yunnan should submit their visa applications at the India Visa Application Center in Guangzhou.

The applicants who are not from the above mentioned provinces are requested to submit their applications at the India Visa Application Centre in Beijing.

Please visit our website www.vfs-india.com.cn for more information about the visa application process, the checklist of documents required, visa application forms and additional forms, fees and address of the visa application centers in China.

All Applicants are requested to apply for only that category of visa which supports their actual purpose of travelling to India. The failure to do so might result in refusal of visa or delay in the visa processing time. All applicants can either come personally to the visa application centre or send someone on their behalf to submit the applications. The India Visa application centre does not accept passports and documents by post. The Indian Embassy takes up-to 7 working days to process a tourist visa application for Foreign nationals in China. It is advised that the applicants apply well in advance of their intended travel date.

India Visa Application Centre-Beijing
